Do your own facial!!!

So I am big on home remedies and DIY projects! I have done tons of things such as make my own baked eyeshadow, homemade lip gloss, teeth whitener, ect.. One thing I have found that I absolutely LOVE is my DIY facial! Its so easy and so effective! I love it! I do it once a week and its such a great routine!

My facial only uses 4 ingredients! Most things that you will probably find in your kitchen! Here are the ingredients and steps! Give it a try and let me know what you think!!

Ingredients:
Brown Sugar
Honey
Lemon Juice (can use concentrate but I prefer juice from a fresh lemon)
Coconut Oil or Olive Oil

Steps:
In a small bowl mix brown sugar with about 1 tablespoon of honey! Mix enough brown sugar so that you have a good exfoliating texture!

Wet your face with warm water!

With your fingertips gently run the sugar/honey mixture all over your face in circular motions.

Do this all over for about 2 minutes making sure you pay special attention to any dry skin areas! (mine are usually around my temple area)

This will exfoliate any dead dry skin you might have. The sugar and honey are both naturally healing and moisturizing!

Dont forget to get your neck area also!

After you have exfoliated well go ahead and rinse your face well!

After your face is rinsed good use a cotton ball to rub the lemon juice over your face and neck!

This might burn but that means its working! The lemon juice helps to draw out the bad stuff in your skin! Like an astringent!

After the lemon juice you can choose to rinse your face or not. Sometimes I do sometimes I don't. Its up to you!

If you chose to use coconut oil you will only need a small pea sized amount! If you chose olive oil you may need a little more than that!

Lat step is to just rub the oil you chose over your face and be sure to massage it into your skin well!

Both coconut oil and olive oil are very good for your skin! You, of course, do not want to use to much though!

If you feel you might have too much on your face just wipe off your hands and gently blot your face with a clean towel and then massage your skin again until it is absorbed well.

Can you feel the difference in your skin?  I love the feeling of my skin after I use this facial! I am not a fan of the lemon juice part because I have sensitive skin but after a few times of doing it you kind of get used to the stinging.

If you decided to give it a try please let me know what you think! Will you be sharing with a friend?

Awesome auction website where everything is FREEEEEEE!!!

Ok so I was watching youtube videos as I do daily and I came across something interresting.. A site where you need no more but you get awesome stuff..And I'm not talking about one of the sites where you sign up for free samples either.  I'm talking about Listia.

Listia is a site where you auction off your items that you no longer want.  People bid on them using points and whatever the winning bid is is the amount of points you get for the item.  You then use those points you just got to bid on items you DO want. Makeup, clothing, shoes, movies, ect...Some stuff is used some stuff is brand new! It is so easy I am still amazed! I have auctioned off 7 items in 1 week and I am already up passed 20,000 points which is awesome! You choose what you want your items to start at and the people take it from there! You can also decide if you want to charge to ship the items or not. If you do charge then you have the winning person send you the shipping amount through paypal. If you do not want them to pay for shipping then the cost comes out of your pocket!

Another great thing about Listia is that if you do not want to auction off your items you can purchase points for money.  I cant remember what they cost is but it was a good deal.  You can also earn points from doing surveys or signing up for emails from companies I believe. I have auctioned off Hollister jeans and got over 6,000 points for those with free shipping and some makeup and other clothing items. I also listed a pair of heels but they didnt get a bid so maybe shoes don't sell to good on there I'm not sure. However I am very happy with my points I have racked up so far and I will posting more items tomorrow! I am saving up my points for a new Urban Decay pallette that is on there :)

Oh I forgot to mention you also get points for friends that you get to sign up on there also so that is awesome also! Especially if you have a lot of people with a lot of unwanted stuff! So here is the link to get to the site and I really hope you enjoy it and if you have any questions reguarding Listia please please please feel free to ask!!

A little intro...

   Hello Everyone!!
I want to start out by saying thank you so very much for looking into my beauty blog!  I am new at this but I believe I have a pretty good idea of how this goes.  My objective in starting this blog to help anyone who is looking for reviews or ideas about different make-ups and hair styles.  As I stated in the "About Me" section of this blog, I have a serious love for all things make-up.  I recently did away with a lot of my make-up and will be starting fresh.  Once I get that started I will be posting everything I purchase along with prices and where you can find it at.  I will give swatches as well.

I know when I am going out to buy new make-up and hair care items I like to try to look up reviews before I decide what exactly it is that I want to purchase.  Sometimes, there are items that are so appealing to the eyes on the t.v. or the computer screen or magazine page, and then you get them home and you have no idea how they could have possibly got the look you previously seen.  I want to try to help with that.  Nothing is more annoying than spending hard earned money on items that are not worth a dime.

I want to ask that you look over this blog and share with your friends! Also please feel free to contact me and ask any questions you may have! Thank you so much for reading!!

Lets talk boxes...

Ok everyone! I am sitting here watching all these awesome youtube videos and I thought to myself..why not bring up all these "box" subscriptions I see all over all the beauty guru vlogs. The boxes I am talking about are the ones that you pay a small subscription price every month and these companies send you out a box filled with all these awesome items like eyeshadows and nail colors and what not. Then you can do reviews and what not.  I am definitely interested in getting a few subscriptions from some of these companies. I feel the Ipsy boxes seem like a GREAT deal for the $10 you pay a month. I am also interested in the PopSugar box as well.  However, what I need from you guys are some compare/contrast reviews. Which ones do you love? Which ones do you feel are not really worth the monthly price? ECT.. So please please please send comments and let me know which one is the definite way to go!
