The first item I was actually kinda excited about is the Jergens BB Body cream! This item is not listed on the card so I am not sure of the price but it is a BB cream for your body. It says it hydrates, illuminates, evens, firms, and corrects! It is supposed to perfect skin in just 5 days! I have not tried it yet but I plan to and once I get passed those 5 days I will do a full review on it!
Next I got Agave Healing Oil for your hair! It says it smoothes, restores and transforms unmanageable, frizzy hair. Directions say to work a small amount onto damp hair from root to ends. A full size of this is $24-$40! This small sample is 0.1oz so just enough for 1 trial. I would have liked enough for at least 2 trials.
The next item I got that I like is theBalm "How 'Bout Them Apples?" cheek and lip cream in the color Pie. First of all, I love the packaging on this products! Very colorful and pretty! Says it is a dual-purpose creamy stain. It definitely is creamy but I'm am not sure of the stain part. When I think of a lip stain it usually doesn't wipe off too easy but this one comes right off. The price for a full size of this is $32.00!
The next product I recieved was Keims Hair Care cleanshine energizing shampoo enriched with silk protein. It is peppermint and macadamia nut. The scent is amazing! I cannot wait to try this product! The price of this is $9.50!
The last product I got was Havvn night cream! I am kinda excited about this because I don't have a cream specifically for night time so I can't wait to give it a try! It has a VERY herbally smell to it and I am not really a fan of that so I am not sure how well I will like it but I will give it a try anyway. It says it visibly reduces wrinkles and revives dull skin! The price for a full size of this one is $30.00!
Overall I am not super pleased with this box. I have looked and looked for websites for these products and cannot find them which also turns me off a bit.. I don't think I will be continuing my subscription. I have heard a lot of bad things about Birchbox unfortunately and I guess I can confirm it is not really worth the money. The samples are very small and I am more used to the more deluxe size samples and non-messy boxes. I am also not pleased with the packaging overall. They do not use anything to cushion the products which, to me, means they do not care if we receive damaged products. I am just not thrilled about it. I hope you guys have happier experiences if you are a Birchbox subscriber.
