Why is exfoliating so important?

Exfoliating your skin (especially your face) is very important to get off any dead skin you most likely have! Dead skin does nothing for your complexion besides making it look drab and dry and not nice! I can guarentee if you have never exfoliated before and you try this today you will be amazed!

Exfoliating is SUPER SIMPLE! All you need is a lemon or a lime and some sugar! You can do this multiple ways but the simplest way is to just get the juice from 1/4 of a lemon or lime and add about 1 tsp. granulated or brown sugar and use with your fingers or a face cleaning pad and rub all over your face in circular motions for about 2-3 minutes!

The lemon/lime is great for 3 things! First of all, I call it my mini peel because it does a great job of peeling away dead skin to bring forth your beautiful rejuvinated skin! Second, it is a natural antibiotic to rid you of any bacteria that may be trapped in your pores! And lastly, it acts as a toner and helps close your pores to minimize any oil production you may have! All of these things help to bring forth your beautiful glowing skin underneath!

The sugar is also a natural antioxident helping to get out the bacteria! Is also a great exfoliant for obvious reasons being it is a course texture! Sugar is also a good moisturizer. You really cannot lose using sugar as a scrub or exfoliant!

Now after you have finished doing the exfoliating you can go ahead and do a quick rinse with cool water! The cool water helps to close up the pores! Don't forget to use a lightweight face moisturizer! I have been using the Garnier Moisture Rescue Refreshing Gel Cream Moisturizer! This is the first time I used it after exfoliating and I could not be any happier with the results! My face is probably the smoothest it has ever been!

After you exfoliate and apply your moisturizer, I would wait about 10 minutes before applying makeup to give it time to soak up and reall soften your face!

I would love to hear your feedback after you try this! Please leave comments!
